Impersonation had a fix back in May, but it wasn't fully working until September 4, when the same update went into Ultimate and Pro.

#Notifications

Notifications went in on August 17. Two days later we fixed clearing them so the list refreshes properly.

#Improvements

• Blog posts have metadata, and the blog tag relationship migration was updated.
• Updates to the accept invitation flow.
• Removed the Supabase listener and the help cards.
• We tried the edge runtime and switched back to the default the same day.

#Fixes

• Migration and build fixes in Ultimate.
• Pro: updated the sign-up callback URL and fixed some import errors.
• A follow-up to July's security patch in Ultimate and Pro.

#Website and docs

• Setup docs are live in the docs.
• Blog page update, with code highlighting that follows the theme.
• Updated tiers and discounted prices.

#Blog in Ultimate

The first version ran on Server Actions on July 13, and image uploads came the next day. By the 15th the Tiptap editor and the blog page were working, and categories followed on the 24th.

#Improvements

• Supabase client creation was refactored for server components, admin code and logged-in users.
• Admin panel users, organizations, feedback and the internal changelog now run on Server Actions.
• A feedback item page, plus roadmap and changelog links in the app.
• Replaced react-icons with lucide-react, using modular imports.
• Essential got pricing table changes, a start free trial button, metadata on every page and its own favicon.

#Fixes

• Logout runs from a client component instead of an API route.
• Fixed a sign-up problem in the auth callback route.
• Organization email invites are handled properly in Ultimate and Essential.
• Removed console warnings in Pro and Essential, and shipped a security patch for Ultimate and Pro.

#Website and docs

• New docs with a refreshed layout and navbar.
• Pricing page improvements to go with the new table.
• Purchase flow updates, including fixes for buyers who are already logged in.
• A Sentry integration feature page and updated testimonials.

#Ultimate

MDX support came first, along with mobile styles and plainer code blocks (we dropped their background). Later in the month we went back to feedback, then the changelog and public roadmap.

#Nextbase Essential

The first Essential commits went in on June 22. There isn't much to look at yet, but the generated types match your Supabase schema, and everything after this builds on them.

#Pro

The Supabase admin client now goes through Next's fetch as well, same as the regular client.

#Organizations, teams and projects

Organizations and invitations came first, on May 10, with a couple of invitation fixes the same day. Teams and the team layout took the next two days, and projects with comments and approval controls landed on the 17th.

#Billing

The Stripe free plan work started on the 17th, and by the 19th there were charts built from Stripe data.

#Fixes and odds and ends

• Fixed a login issue and user impersonation.
• Migration fixes and generated Supabase types.
• Tried Nextra, then removed it the same day.
• Pro: hover cards on buttons and some ESLint fixes.
